3.3 Alpha Block Schematic

Each of the voice alarm system equipment racks (panel) contains a microprocessor

Controlled Alpha Audio Switching Matrix. This Matrix switches the audio input Sources from

microphones and the message cards holding the evacuate announcement.

When an input controller is activated (i.e. paging microphones and/or serial link interfaces) a

request is made to the Alpha matrix controller via a serial data link. The matrix controller
